One of many poems about God
When the weight of the world is pressing down on my shoulders
and I think there is no way out I turn to my Redeemer,
my Saviour, and my King.
He is there in my times of trouble, my darkest hour He guides
my hand and draws me closer to Him.
How I long to live in His kingdom for I know that this world will pass away
and only Him, and those in Him, shall remain.
Praise and glory to God on High, to the slain Lamb and the Mighty Lion of Judah.
Lord God, hold me close this day and every day; for the flowers fall
and the grass withers but the Word of the LORD stands forever!
To live is Christ but to die is gain!
Lord let this be the song of my life, may You be the reason I live,
the reason I breathe, the reason I be.
