God's eternal promise/Our promises

In my former life I lived in Norwich and taught Sunday school there. This was one of the large art projects we did- with loads of chopped up paper and quality street wrappers!

Based on the rainbow being a visible sign of God’s promises to be faithful to us, and how it symbolises God’s covenant with his people. We then attached our own ‘promises’ to the rainbow, as a response in light of what God is continually doing for us.

I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.Genesis 9:13

“But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. ” Jeremiah 31: 31-33
