Jan - March
Proverbs: Wisdom for the Wise: A practical series based on the Wisdom of Solomon known in our bibles as the book of Proverbs. We’ll be looking at issues such as Friendship, Stewardship, Parenting, Marriage, Work and Respecting parents.
March - July
Hebrews: Curious about Christ. This relatively unknown letter written by an unknown author focusses on the essentials of the Gospel. In a word - Jesus. It’s particularly relevant for those examining the Christian faith and for those of us that can sometimes feel our faith lacks focus and has become overcomplicated.
July
Esther: The People’s Princess. God chose some incredible women in the Old Testament to lead his people. Esther is no different. We’ll unpack her story and find the gospel’s message in every page.
Aug - Sep
Exodus: This epic story of God’s people and their journey to the promised land contains some huge theological themes; Election, Judgement, Salvation, and Redemption. This Old Testament book has much to say about Christ, His presence, His purposes and His church. I seriously can’t wait for this series.
Sep - Dec
The Gospel of John: It’s easy to forget that this account of Jesus’ life was written by his best friend. If anyone could see a weakness, a fault or foul play it would be John. But he concludes ‘the Word become flesh and made his dwelling among us’ (John 1:14). We’ll spend 13 weeks looking at the life and teaching of Christ.
